Save money on your energy bills and earn money from Government incentives whilst you generate clean, environmentally-friendly energy.

Yorkshire Energy Partnership and Solarwall, with support from Ryedale District Council, are holding a renewable energy event at Weaverthorpe Village Hall on Tuesday October 6th from 3pm-7pm.

Renewable energy technologies - like solar panels and heat pumps - generate energy that is clean and naturally replenished, which can help to preserve our environment and combat climate change.

To encourage people to install a renewable technology and move away from fossil fuels, the Government introduced the Feed-in Tariff and Renewable Heat Incentive - two schemes that will pay you for generating energy from a renewable source. Install solar panels and receive Feed-in Tariff payments for 20 years, or switch your fuel source to a renewable heating product like an air source heat pump and receive Renewable Heat Incentive payments for 7 years.

At this free event, team members from Solarwall and Yorkshire Energy Partnership can explain to you how the Renewable Heat Incentive and Feed-in Tariff work and how you can join the schemes. We can offer you personalised advice on what would suit your property and lifestyle, to help you save money on energy bills and reduce your carbon footprint.

If you're interested in this event but can't attend, please call Yorkshire Energy Partnership (01904 545020) or Solarwall (0194 690824) and speak to an energy team member.
