SOLARWALL OPENS ITS DOORS AND SPREADS THE WARMTH
Opened its doors on the 7th and 8th December 2009 and provided an update and demonstration of the latest developments in renewable energy options for the home. More than 60 attendees visited the event which included representatives from local authorities, housing associations, architects and the local Energy Saving Trust.
Solarwall’s headquarters provided the perfect venue for the event with it’s fully functional air source heat pump and solar panels providing hot water and heating to the whole building.
Grant Henderson, Head of Renewables at Solarwall, commented: “We are keen to help people understand the benefits of renewable energy for both private and commercial use and we were delighted that we had a great response to our open day. We received lots of interest from the local area and we are seeing more and more people seriously considering renewable energy options for their homes and businesses.”
