Gas prices set to rise-second time in six months
British Gas has implied it may have to raise the cost of household bills due to increasing gas prices. Owner of British Gas, Centrica, states in its interim report that wholesale gas and electricity prices (the price companies pay for energy) are around 25% higher than they were this time last year.
